You probably already know that in camming the schedule can be as flexible as you want. And that is because you choose your online hours, depending on when you want to work. But how do you choose exactly? You can, of course, ask your trainer or support team, if you work in a studio, or you could do some research on your own. Such as reading this article! Wink, wink!

Picking online hours is never an easy tasks. You will want to keep that precious work-home balance and sometimes it can be difficult to manage. Maybe the hours you picked are ones with less traffic, but are perfect for you because you get to spend time with your family, friends or significant other.

But Time is money, as it is often said, and you need to spend it wisely!

Think about your members

Always remember your members will probably live in a different time zone than you so you need to adjust your time according to that. Try and think about when are your members more active and pick a time frame. A model with experience already knows her members well and is able to pick which time zone she feels is best suited for her needs and their needs as well.

When is the best time though?

Well, for example, for Western Europe, in general, the peak hours are between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am. For the United States however that time differs. Usually, you will find members between 7:00 pm and 3:00 am. Still, these time frames are just a reference point for you. Takes notes on when you see a spike in traffic because that’s usually when you’d want to be part of the action.

Try to keep a fixed schedule

Now, this is another key aspect to consider. Aside from time zones and such. Whenever you pick your online hours try to stick to them. This way your members will know when to find you and when you’re away and they can show up exactly when they need to. Resist the temptation to try out different schedules every other week as this will only confuse members and make them leave. Consistency is key.

Hang in there

Finally, even though it might seem hard at the beginning never give up. Organizing yourself and how you work can actually go a long way in helping you achieve your goals. You will be more focused, happier, and that will show on camera and your members will pick up on your vibe and ride the wave, as it were. A confident model is a successful model!
